Show ? Compile and Write a Community History Book In the very near future, USH and UHC will begin to offer grants for researching and writing community histories. Grants may be used to cover costs related to training, research, writing, and publication. USH would provide technical assistance, training, and review of the written histories. UHC would provide publicity and administrative oversight of the program. We're interested in your ideas regarding this future program. Your feedback on the following questions is appreciated: What should the application look like? What information should it provide? Is it necessary for USH to provide trainingor just assistance? How long should research and writing grants be? How should USH/UHC assist with publicationa subvention, a loan? How should "community" be defined in the context of this program? For more information on writing and publishing a history of your town or city, contact Kent Powell at kpowcllfflutah.Rov or (801) 533-3520.
