Show Saturday, January 12, 1935 12th Day 353 Days to come I went to Salt Lake with Dr today Called on my brother Orens wife Mal. Saw Bro Harry Russell at the Laundry rooms. Had lunch at Z.C.M I. new lunch room. Called at Relief Society Office & talked a few minutes with Pres. Louise Y. Robinson. Met Dr at 5 P.M. at Utah Hotel and we called on his brother Fred & wife. Jack stayed all night. Sunday, January 13, 1935 13th Day 1st Sunday after Epiphany 352Days to come At 4 30 A.M. Blanch Juniors wife gave birth to a fine son. Weighed 8 lbs. This evening Blanch is feeling as well as can be expected. She was in labor less than three hours. We are all so happy for them as they had two lovely girls before one sharen six & Lynn 2 yr old. This makes our tenth grandson. And eleven grand daughters. All alive but one. Dear little Edward R Eccles. Jack Hancock stayed all nite with us went back to the University today. We called on Cleone, Dr Junior, and Cleone & Clair called here. No snow beautiful weather. Dr & I went to 18 Ward Sacrament meeting. Burdett Smith gave a good talk. I talked with Addie Sanders about Police womens Job. Went up to see Blanch at the Hospital |
