Show Monday, July 29, 1935 210th Day 155 Days to come How good it seems to have a day at home. Had a nice letter from Mary saying She & Taylor are taking a trip to Yosemite & will hike 15 mi a day for a week. Also had a letter from Ruby & Earl saying Phillis would be married Aug 3rd. I am still on a milk diet. Mrs Frank Baker called Russell Rich from Logan called. Margret Anderson & Betty called Tuesday, July 30, 1935 211th Day 154 Days to come A very warm day Have written several letters, after preparing lunch for junior & Pop. Spent from 4 30 to 5 30 P.M. at dentist Douglas. Did some shopping. Called to see Myrene Knowles who has a broken leg & look her some play things. Bought a set of dishes for my niece Phyllis Cozzens who expects to be married Aug 3rd Dr, Cleone Mrs A L Brewer and I drove to South Fork in Ogden Canon to have dinner with Joe & Myrene after a pleasant visite around the Camp fire arrived home about 10 P.M. my stomach some better but distressed after eating a few bites of water mellon. |
