Merrill gave a splendid paper and talk on Syphilis. All were well paid for listening one hr. In departmental work I took charge in presidents Dept. Mrs Wheelwright gave the social case work lesson. Called to see Blanch and children also at Cleones. This evening went to Sacrament meeting. Dr Jr & Dr are operating Mrs Fernelies of Uintah tonight. Avon & June went home. I took some porteirs over to Rose Nielson she wanted to make them for me as I have to go to Salt Lake City to meet with the nominating Committee of the State organization of D.U.P. Nice to have such a fine friend as Sister Neilson. I took the Buss at 12-30 on arriving in S.L.C. went over to genealogy rooms then to the Capitol Bldg. were our meeting was held. We were in session from 3 P.M. to five P.M. Mrs Jenetta Marrell was placed on for second vice pres. Mrs Rose Packer for auditor. Arrived home at 7 P.M. & retired early. Dr Cragun died suddenly today.
