Show Thursday, August 8, 1935 220th Day 145 Days to come Greys River Have spent most of the day in bed it is so cool & quiet here and a fine place to rest which I needed to do. Dr & Sam Jr went four mi on foot to a lake in the mountains to fish but had no luck. Dr had a fall and the walk too made him very tired so he went to bed quite early. However we spent the evening with Youngs who also had an old Army friend of theirs with them. Friday, August 9, 1935 221st Day 144 Days to come We left Youngs place quite early this A.M. for Avons place in Cokeville Wyo. We went over a very narrow new mountain road. It was a pretty ride but hard to drive so Dr was quite tired. We reached there about two P.M. Avon and the children were fine June, Richard Rich, and Charles were off in the hills. Avons home is very comfortable and we are glad to be here, Retire early |
