Show Saturday, February 9, 1935 40th Day 325 Days to come Beautiful weather Glady Knowles cleaned the house for me with my help. This afternoon Mr Howard Jinkins and I went over the Childrens Aid budget and recommended an additional 500.00 for 1935 to the Community Chest of Ogden, as we are members of the budget Com At four o clock I met Cleone and we attended a Tea given by Misss Jenetta Morrell and Georgie Hopkins after which we went down town to do buying for Sunday dinner. This evening D Orr Cozzens, my nephew and his family and a friend called D Orr has charge of KLDO station and at present is rebuilding it. He is very capable. I have been reading some today in my diary of 1905. Myrene went to Salt Lake ask me to go but could not. Sunday, February 10, 1935 41st Day 5th Sunday after Epiphany 324 Days to come I attended Sunday School after lunch Dr went to High Priest meeting James H Douglas talked of his mission to England. I have written letters to Ralph Cozzens in Cal. To Thair in Pa to Oertel in Ohio & Mrs W H Petty in Hollywood Cal. Was back on writing up my diary so have finished up to date. This evening Dr & I went to sacrament meeting. Junior has been in several times Cleone & Myrene came in for awhile. Joe Brewer went to Cal today. The son of Bro J B Wheelwright was killed in an auto accident He was 14 yr old. |
