Show Sunday, October 13, 1935 286th Day 17th Sunday after Trinity 79 Days to come Dr prepared his breakfast fruit & milk, which he has done a good deal of the time since I have been on a diet. He is always so kind and considerate of me. Seldom ever leaves the house with out a kiss & good by which I greatly appreciate. Such he has always done. We enjoy our evenings reading. Often read to each other. We enjoy much the same things and are always happy togather. We had dinner with Blanch & Junior their baby boy is nine months old to day and has not been named yet. Dr & I called to see Mr L. Pardoe & family also Mrs Jake Parker & family. Their husbands died this week. I attended Mr Pardos funeral assisted with the flowers. Prepared supper and Drs Niece Elia Rich ate with us. She & I went to 18 Ward & Dr spoke in 20 Ward tonight Monday, October 14, 1935 287th Day 78 Days to come Did not sleep well Remained in bed late do not feel so well. Delora Hurst called on Relief Society Business. Prepared lunch did up work. Mrs N.J. Thomas called we visited most of the after noon had a letter from Janath thank me for a gift, also a letter from Avon. Read Long fellas Evagline and the papers, Junior & Blanch came also Myrene & her Kiddies. Sharlene played her first music piece for us. Have stayed on my milk diet today it pays. Dr seems tired tonight has some cold so retired early. A triple murder happened in Davis Co last night yes more than that two women & two men shot on the out skirts of Bountiful by one man. Officers found the murder today. |
