Show Sunday, December 22, 1935 356th Day 4th Sunday of Advent First Day of Winter shortest Day of Year 9 Days to come I have stayed in bed most of today until Avon and family came. I prepared lunch for them and at two o clock P.M. the left for Los Angeles to spend the holidays with Junes Mother Mrs Smart. Avon was driving as June had gone Via of sacrament. She had a maid & the three children and a big load. They drove from Cokeville this A.M. It is quite cold and, a little snow so shall be anxious about them. She expects to arrive in L.A. tomorrow afternoon. Monday, December 23, 1935 357th Day 8 Days to come I have been up most all day as I have some gifts to buy yet & many to wrap. |
