Show Sunday, July 12, 1935 A very warm day. Dr not buisy I cooked chicken dinner. I attended sacrament meeting Thomas Clark spoke on his visit to the Joseph Smith Farm. Dr visited the 1st Ward in Weber Stake to hear a Russian Concert to the L.D.S. Sat, July 13, 1935 195th Day 4th Sunday after Trinity 170 Days to come H sat 105 Dr and I alone. Had a Committee meeting of the D.U.P. here at home this A.M. to further discuss the Good year Cabin past Card. Decided to have Guerther made 1000 for 28.50 Boy scouts will sell them during the 4 day Pioneer celebration here in Ogden. I made 36 glasses of current Jelley for Avon Cleaned up the house after lunch and went to the Heritage Hotel in the canon to a Tea given by Mrs F.M. Driggs Mrs Ezra Richardson & Mrs Renolds for Mrs Nill F. Reed & Mrs Horn from Cal. Myrene took me down to do shopping bought a nice iced melon & she came in & ate a price with Pop & me. Royal & Cleone came down to see rugs same flaw had from Egypt bought 4 nice ones for 25.00 I took one. |
