Show Sunday, August 4, 1935 216th Day 7th Sunday after Trinity 149 Days to come Some rain Bear Lake Soo much noise at dance hall to sleep well. At seven A.M. we were awakened by an air Plane which lighted in front of the house on the beach. It was Junior and his friend pilot McKay. I think he is the first Rich to see Bear Lake from an air plane. We were all quite thrilled to see him land safely. Cleone came later with her children (except Maren who is in Columbus) Mose Cozzens my nephew and Charles Smart from Cokeville. As last night & today is the Rich Reunion there are about 200 of the family here in Fish Haven, at the meeting this A.M. Apostle Richard R Lyman was the main speaker & was very good. Junior flew back to Ogden Dr had an air Plane ride over Paris this A.M. We drove to Cokeville also Cleone Monday, August 5, 1935 217th Day 148 Days to come Cokeville Wyo Avon and June came home from a three weeks vacation trip in Cal & stayed in Ogden at home tonight Cleone & family Dr and I stayed at their home and had a nice rest last night. Dr and I left about 10 A.M. via of Star Valley for Greys River to stay a few days with Sam Young & family. Found them fine & happy to see us as it is six yr since our last visite. They had a cabin for us and made us feel very much at home. Spent the evening visiting Dr had dinner with them and it was not easy for me to look on and be satisfied with a glass of milk especially when it was just warm. |
