Show Saturday, August 10, 1935 222nd Day St. Lawrence 143 Days to come Cokeville Wyo. Had such a good rest last night. A fine bed & cool, blankets felt good. I am still on diet. Myrene and Joe came late this evening. June & the little boys also came. So we are a merry crowd tonight. Every body happy & good beds & food. Sunday, August 11, 1935 223rd Day 8th Sunday after Trinity 142 Days to come We were awakened by an air Plane flying over the ranch and we all hurried out in robes & slippers to see Junior & McKay saying, Hello & dropping the morning papers. We were disappointed when they did not land. They flowers to Bear Lake. At 5 A.M. Dr, Joe, June & others went out to shoot sage hens. At 8 A.M. they were back with their limit of 24 birds & later in the day went out & got 24 more I cooked 15 of the chickens & made hot cream bisqiuts for 18 people Did not have auto ride with the girls down to a ranch on Bear River Have had a nice. |
