Had a card from Mary all fine Severe earthquake in Helena Mountain By Associated Press HELENA, Mont., Oct. 18 A rumbling earthquake violently rocked this capital city tonight, killed at least one man, toppled store fronts into the street, and sent panic stricken citizens scurrying to the open as a series of fires were reported to have broken out. The shock, the sixtieth of a series which began six days ago, visited the city with a prolonged quiver at 9 47 p. m. (M. S. T.) and a series of minor quakes followed in rapid succession.
