Show Second Annual “All Scots’ Day” Opens With Breakfast, Cleanup VOLUME Ben Lomond High School WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29, 1970 17 NUMBER The second annual “All Scots Day” will be held tomorrow. A schedule has been set up as follows: 7:30-8:00 a. m.—Breakfast to be served in the cafe14 teria. Cost is one school lunch ticket. 8:45 a. m.All Scots should report to their home rooms for roll call and cleanup assignment information. The parents of those absent from roll call will be called. FINE ARTS WEEK BEGINS WITH RECEPTION MAY 4 9:00-12:00 a. m. — Between these hours the actual cleanup will take place. Students will work at the school or at parks and other areas in the Ben Lomond area. One of the outstanding art exhibits in the Ogden area is the annual Ben Lomond Fine Arts Festival. This annual exhibit will start with a reception on Sunday, May 4, from 2 till 4 p. m. and continues until Thursday. All media are exhibited with kindergarten to professional works on display. Visting hours are 7:30 a.m. till 3:00 p. m. and 6:30 p. m. till 9:00 p. m. from May 5 to May 7. On May 6 at 8:00 p. m. the vocal music department of Ben Lomond will present a concert in the auditorium. During the week hundreds of elementary students will be given guided _ tours through the exhibit by BLHS 12:00 noon—All those who have participated in the cleanup will be issued a pass, allowing them to enter the carnival to be held in the stadium. Upon entering the gate, all participants should exchange their pass for a hand stamp. They will then be allowed to buy food at the various refreshment booths. 1:00 p. m.—Game booths will open. Among these are dunking contests, greased pig chases, and many others. 3:00 p. m.—F ree swimming in the Ben Lomond pool for all those who had their hands stamped. Allan was chosen for his work in a variety of areas in the art medium. His exhibits for submission to the Sterling Scholar committee included jewelry, clothing and tapestry, etching and pottery. An avid sports fan, he participates in both track and wresSn tling. The admission will be $2.00 per couple, so get set. The dance will be from 8:30 to 11:00.
