So can disease, poor circulation, improperly trimmed toenails and shoes that don't fit properly. Problems with our feet can be the first sign of more serious medical conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, and nerve and circulatory disorders. To prevent foot problems. Here are a Did you know that Weber Human Services holds an educational series designed specifically for caregivers? The nine week course is free for caregivers and offers resources, respite and hope. All few tips to practice good foot care: Check your feet regularly, or have a member of your family check them. Podiatrists and Family Physicians are qualified to treat most foot problems. Keep blood circulating to your feet as much as possible. Put your feet up while sitting or lying down, walk or stretch if you have been sitting for a long time, a gentle foot massage or warm foot bath can also help. Wearing comfortable shoes that fit well can prevent many foot problems. classes begin at noon with lunch provided. Respite services are available during class time. Class dates are: March 23rd, 30th, April 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, May 4th, 11th, and 18th. New topics each week. Classes are held at Weber Human Services, 237 26th Street, Ogden.
