Show Ea he of chief executive officer Intermountain Milk Pro- _|ducers has been named ninth president of Weber State College. Dr. Stephen D. Nadauld, of Provo, will replace Rodney H. Brady, who leaves the college on July 1 to become president of Bonneville International _|Corporation. Brady leaves after seven years as WSC president. Dr. Nadauld became CEO at what was then called Western General Dairies in 1983. During his tenure there, the company expanded to include four dairy cooperatives which employs 1,100 and has a monthly payroll to employees and producers in excess of $12 million. It is one of few intermountain businesses that ranks in sales and volume only slightly below the smallest Fortune 500 companies. Dr. Nadauld received a B.A. degree from Brigham Young University. in 1967, an MBA from Harvard in 1969, and a Ph.D. in Finance, Economics and Organizational Theory, from Berkeley in 1978. Before joining Intermountain Milk Producers, he served as director of the MBA program at BYU and associate professor of finance at BYU. He was also an instructor of finance at Berkeley and the University of Utah. Dr. Nadauld has been a research ninth president associate, partner in a Provo development firm, and Ayres Fellow from the Stonier. Graduate School of Banking, and has done considerable consulting for such investment bankers as Blyth Eastman, Paine Webber, and Imperial Bank. He has most recently been involved in the Garn St. Germaine study for congress on financial stability of the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation. He is Vice Chairman of the Board, Utah Housing Finance Agency: member of the board, National Milk Producers Federation, and member of the board, Western Food Processing Company. The new president is also a member of the State Consumer Funds Transfer Facilities Board, Provo City School Foundation, Advisory Board to Provo City Parks and Recreation, and is chairman of the Athletics and Special Events Advisory Board at BYU. He was named ‘Outstanding Teacher of the Year” at the Berkeley School of Business and ‘Outstanding Professor” of the second year MBA program at BYU. He attended Harvard and Berkeley 4 on Fellowships and was a member of the East Coast championship rugby team while at Harvard. sme Dr. Stephen D.
