Glenn, class of 1968, has been named chief operating officer and executive vice president for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. Glenn will supervise all corporate functions of Freddie Mac, except internal audit, and will assume responsibility for the company’s daily business operations. Freddie Mac is a stockholder-owned corporation charted by Congress to create a continuous flow of funds to mortgage lenders in support of home ownership and rental housing. Midget Bonnie Cantwell Midget and John Shupe, who work at McKay-Dee Hospital Center in Ogden, have received a merit award second place in the external publications/periodical category for the hospital magazine, “Scanner.” Midget is the editor and Shupe is the photographer of the magazine. In addition, Shupe received a merit award second place for black and white photo series for his photographs of an eight-yearold boy injured in a motorcycle accident. The photographs appeared in the Spring 1988 “Scanner.” Midget graduated from WSC in 1974 with a degree in journalism. Shupe graduated in 1966 with a degree in sociology and an equivalent in credit hours for a major in photography. In addition, he taught photography at WSC from 1971-1980. SS John Shupe ) |
