We have truly been an influence for good with the college by having alumni ‘participation on many issues and affecting the school in the legislature, on the Institutional Council and many other committees and activities. Sharon Young, our incoming WSCAA president, has been selected to chair the 100th birthday celebration of the college, thus involving more alumni in the future of the school. The Alumni Association Board of Directors have moved in positive directions in improving the alumni and college image in the communities and with the students. We have established a student alumni chapter to involve students early, we have been working with the state to find a location for our alumni house, and have worked diligently with the administration to assist with recruitment and retention of students. I am sorry to see my year as president end, but am looking forward to continued association with WSC and the Alumni Association. I urge all alumni to join us and continue to make WSC a truly outstanding educational institution.
