Technology Utah Skills Center North DRAPERY V0083. Draperies (1-9) A training program in the operation of power machines, providing four (4) sewing skills used in the fabrication of drapes. In addition to this, students are trained in preparing and installing drapes, basic decorating, bedspreads, quilts and pillows. MATERIALS HANDLER V0082. Material Handler (1-9) This will involve the use of manual A short term program to train students in and mechanical equipment, as well as the use proper operation of starting and moving ma-terial goods. This will involve the use of mental processes. SHEETMETAL WORKER This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of commercial sheetmetal. It will cover design, lay-out and estimation of material. COURSES OF INSTRUCTION V0061. Blueprint Reading (1-9) This course will teach general blueprint reading as well as detail schematics as it pertains to sheetmetal. V0063. Sheetmetal Theory (1-9) This course is concerned with nomenclature of components, and familiarization and care of tools. V0065. Sheetmetal Lab (1-9) This course will emphasize the practical application of sheetmetal principles. This course will support the work projects in progress.
