There was one peculiarity here not beeing over 1 Day. Saints, in City & nearby, yet here was a guise of nearly 20 mostly Strangers of which was over 1 day five young girls that attended practice, & meeting regular, & even song many of our English hymns 17th Took a run by boat up a beautiful bay, this being on the Baltic Ocion, at 6 pm. took train for Stockholm and 18th at 10 am arrived there, was met by Presi. A. Lindquist, & John Felt. here got Letter from home, Stating me son John had his Ankel Sprained & was laid up, at night attended meeting small often. for so large a City, 19th Elder Felt being my guide viewed a good part of the City, its location is very wincentic laying on Glands & hills but its Buildings & Streets. With few exceptions does 44, Beautiful Sunswall, Conf. at Stockholm not equal those of Gotheborg. nor Sunswall which latter is an exceptional fine place having burned some years ago everything was new. with fine Buildings, Streets clean & wide enough. lovly parks. all mudren, and best of all a practical temparance City as far as practical, a real model at night attended concert. House ful & 20 went to the Zoological garden called DjurGuarden. This was very interesting. as here was seen the habitations of the contry as was commen 2 & 300 years ago & yet exist same parts of the Land. anybody that visits Stockholm, should go there & see it all. at night attended 1st Conf. meeting, 21 at 10 am S. School Conf. & 3 & 6 p.m. general meetings. dair attendance (2 @ 300.) a good & free spirit. I spoke in 1 meeting 22 att. 2 priesthood meetings & at night a Y.M. & Y.L. meeting well attended 23 with som of the Brethren Visited an old Church where was Burried for Centuries The Royalty of Sweeden, here was over 4000 Barmers captured in War. & many relics from olden time. also a Museum in the Kings Pallace where was shown persons, weapons shields & things innumerable. for centuries back.
