63, 1905 Sept 16th Was engaged all day in consulting abt. Conf. matters and interviewing the Elders personaly, to find out thier feeling & condition both Temporaly & Spentinely. at 8:15 p.m. Conf. commenced, had report from all the Brances 11 in member, also the Conf. President as a whole the reports showed progress & all the Conf. in a healthy condition both Spiritual & Temporal. I made few closing remarks 17th at 10 am. Sunday school Conf. 8 Schools represented & Christiania branch rendered a creditable program. 3 p.m. Meeting, Hall nearly filled with an attentive Audience Missionaries ocupying most of time. I, spoke abt. 20 minutes 7 p.m. Hall packed. abt 600 present. all attentive & most Strangers. I spoke one hour, think with good result ,as many expressed Themselves very pleased 18th at 10 am. Preisthood meeting, to 12:30 & continued at 3 o clok. all the Brethren & President gave report of their labor, & expresed thier sentiment, all was in harmoni & desirous of doing all the good posible I gave such instructoins as seemed needed their were present with & including some visitors over 30 from the West. at. 8:30 there was Relieve Society Conf. Hall was well filled, Pres. Torgensen presided. there were 8 sosieties represented, all doing good work. I spoke a little a good Spirit prevailed & many Strangers present 19th spent all day in examining Books & finan- 64, Frandhjem Sept 9th cial acts, at 8:30 p.m. att. Branchmeeting in the p.m took super with Elder Thor Nielsen (quire Leader) & Family. Wife & 2 lovly Children 20 Spent all day in Setting up financial matters. everything being in caash all mixid up. Branch. Conf. & Missionary paid them 1700.00 Kroner cash & Cr. over 1000 Kn. all to be used for Building. & remitted 291 56/100 Kn. got all on good footing Elder Nielsen the Bookkeeper is a fine young man. Sisters Vidsto & Gorden Invited myself. & a number of Elders to Dine on a Hotel. at Evning had a nice feast in the Hall for or in honer of all the Elders. & we had a full house, many Strangers beeing present. a fine spread & good program, exelent feeling prevailed 21 in fornoon att to buisness, at 3 p.m. a number of Elders & a few Saints went out & up to Holmen Kollers where a splendid view was obtained from a heigh tower at ev. 8:30 general meeting, bid Saints goodbye. 22nd After doing some buisness. Self. Pres. Torgesen & a few Elders & Saints went over on an peninsula a lovly place I & Pres. Torgensen took leave of Company at 1 pm. went back to Office, took leave of some & most of Elders went with to Station where Elder Frederiksen, an local Bro. & myself took train for Frandhjem, where we arrived safe on the morning of the 23rd was met by Pres.
