69, 1905, Aalborg, 1st Step in the matter of geting a meeting house Oct 9th Met the Elders 25 in number in Preishood meeting at 10 am. report was given of personal labor. at 3 p.m. meeting continued. it was proposed by Pres. Plowman that each Elder assist financialy each other, so as to make the burden abt equal, all was unanimous and a good feeling prevailed I gave such instruction as deemed proper. & all voted to Sustain them. at 8 p.m. a Conf. meeting convened & the Authorities & appointments was voted on. all unanimous. 10th Rested, wrote letters, & was with the Brethren at Evning att. Relief Society Conf. & spoke, this ended all oficial meetings, and it is worthy of note, that there was in no way any ill feeling or complaint all was peace & love among all the Elders & to the President. many frinds atten. Conf. & good Spirit. 11th In conection with Pres. Plowman investigated in regard to geting a place of worship in Aalborg. & found that for abt 22000.00 Kroner a good place can be built suitable & convenient. & respectable, at Eve the Elders present donated 1000. Kn. provided the church authorities sanction the project & are willing to help. there was a social in the eve. most humanistic. Hall was packed. 12th took train at 8:50 for Randers. was met there 70, in Randers, at Aarhus for Conf., Conf. Aarhus, healing at p.m. wrote 1st Presidency abt funds for Meeting house in Aalbirg Oct. 12th by the President of Aarhus Conf. H.C. Hansen & my frind Elder A.P. Nielsen. Visited some in the p.m. & at evning attended meeting in the Hall which was well filled. present abt. 75. all attentive 13th took train for Aarhus. spent p.m. in conversing looking over Acts. of various Kinds. Visited the graveyard, where a sister & Father of my Wife is buried, at ev. took Super at Br. S. P. Christiansens. 14th Spent day in visiting, conversing with the brethren each personal. to assertain their feelings to the work. thier brethren, & their President. at 8 pm at. 1st Conf. meeting. Elders gave report over the various branches. also Conf. President over all. 15th Att. Sunday School Conf. at 10 a.m. a good program was rendered by Aarhus shool. at 2 p.m. general meeting good time out. & at 8 p.m. the Hall was paked, a large number of Strangers was present & all was attentive. took Dinner at Hermansens. & Super at a Bro. Jensens. on Saturday night the Choir leader Andreasen was sick & a nurse & church member declaredet to be ‘Rosen,’ gave instruction that he must Keep bed the next day Sunday, we anointed him, Elder S.P. Sorensen using the Oil & I confirmed it, the Sunday morning found him as he said himself. perfectly well, ‘a new man’ he was with the quire & sung with Vigor. all day.
