117, 1907 Oct. 24th Pres. S. Rasmusen arrived from Jylland, I att. Choir practise. 25thbusy at Office, and shoping in the p.m. at ev. att. Concert which was rendered very Creditable to a well filled house, 26th Buisness & conversing, both & at ev. commenced 1st Conf. meeting which showed 55000 tracts distributed. the largest in the Mission now or at any Time 16 Babtisms, weather was stormy so but few strangers or Saints present. 27th My oldest sons 39th Birthday & Sunday. 1st Conf. day. att. S. School Conf. at 10 a.m. a good turn out. & a fine program rendered, at 2 p.m. the attendenice was fair, but at night The Hall was filled with attentive listners, and a faithful testimony born. 28th Held 2 Preisthood meetings, assisted in locating the Elders, and at ev att a Conf. meeting, where all authorities were sustained by unanimous vote. 29th went with Bro. Rasmusen to the Borching & Petersen Printing office for the purpose of Paying our Bill & introducing Pres. Rasmusen 118 had our Psotos taken Together, at ev. attended Releif Society Conf. sho report showed Copenhagen Branch in exelent condition having collected during the year over 600 Kr. & having now onhand 140.00 Kr. Sister Otte from Logan Utah Presided over the Society over 10 months. 30th (beeing 36 years since I had my endowment which had such a favorable impresion on my mind that for years there was not a day but I tought of it.) Br. F. Samuelsen a Church member from Aarhus, now a member of Rigsdagen called at the Office & invited a lot of Elders to visit the Chambers where, the Lawmakers of the State meet. allthough it is but temporary quarters, They are neat, & convinient, realy a Cr To the Land in p.m. Office work. & Visit among saints also a call at a Mr. Chrisensens. at ev. was present at a Bazar or Tambola, got a cap. 31 Had Letter from Alma Christensen also one from my daugter Ellevnora arranging her Marriage to a Mr. Harry York It was a surprise as I had never herd abt. it. wrote them boath. in the p.m. visited sisters Nielsen & Fyhn
