55, 1905 Aug, In Randers, Return to Copenhagen, arrive Missionaries 1st Went to Randers in Co. with President Hansen, in the afternoon visited some & at 8 p.m. att. meeting. met here Elders Mikelsen Thomp. & my frind A.P. Nielsen also L.M. Christensen a fair attendance, some Strangers present. Pres. Hansen & I spoke. 2nd took early Train for Aarhus, & at 12 Steamer for Kopenhagan over Kalundborg. arr. at 7 att. meeting. That evening 5 Elders arrived vit Niels Andersen from Manti, Christian L Gregerson from Elsinora Albert R. Petersen from Richfield & Chas. L. Edman from Salem J. A. Israelsen from Hyrum, here also met Elder N.C. Christensen who had come down from Trondhjem sick having relatives in Aalborg. Conf. sent him there which pleased him much. 3rd Instructed Missionaries, had Council with Elders G.M. Jorgensen Mission clerk. & F. Christiansen whom I have concluded to consul., on all matters of importance, was very bussey diricting matters pertaining to the mission. 4th att. to Buisness assisted a Mrs. Hansen to get some Money from a State official, latter att. her Babtism & Confirmed her. at 8 pm att. Council meeting where a case of 6th commandment Transgresion was handled, some of the Elders was very harsh I counciled moderation humility & forgivnes 56, Aug., Letter to Pres. Smith, morvell, Kristiana ask for Money, Go to Aalborg 5th was very buisey geting out Letters to Conf. Presidents, one to President Smith & Councilers Stating condition of Mission & its wants financialy, also recomending some for Mission labor, helped the Translator Christensen to correct a tract “Den Fremmedo Fru Vesterlandet” 6th Sunday & fast day, attended S. School & 2 meetings felt very unwell at night & went early to bed 7th was busey working & diricting mission affairs geting out new tract. consulting abt. repares needed on Building, at night attended Branch meeting and ordained & spoke to a good house for half an hour. 8th much Buisness wrote Letters home & got one, in evening visited a Mrs. Dahlquist. in Co. with Elder Christensen & Victor Madsen being his Aunt. met there other strangers 9th Recd. Letters from James & Mary, (my Children) Recd. Letter from President Grant instructing us not to send Emigrants, also Letter from Pres. Torgesen Christiania asking for abt 2200.00 for Debt & repairs on Mission House, dictated several Letters, & at night attended meeting 10th Wrote President Grant, Torgesen, Mary and S.P. Christiansen Aarhus & att. other matters at night att. Quire meeting & spoke to them. 11th Attended to various buisness. took part in anointing @ Sister Olsire Jensen. at 8 p.m took boat for Aalborg to visit that Conf.
