Come circie the wagons together around the haunted grounds. Set-up at 4:30 PM. Treats start at 6:00 FN. Participants with candy to distribute get free entry. Entry is $2 per person, without candy. Enjoy a hot dog. chips, and a drink for $ 1. Come see the costumes and decorated trunks. This event is primarily for residents and their families. Questions contact Becky at 801-627-1919 ext. 202. Warriott-Slaterville Arts fie Crafts Show The show is November 25'" and 26'". If you have talent you want to show here is your chance, or T you want to shop for local gifts come enjoy. The show is at the Marriott-Slaterville City Building, 1570 West 400 North from 10 AM until 3 PM each day. Admission is free. Space is available inside and outside. Please bring your own tables, canopies, and heater for outside. Inside space is 4'x8', and all materials must be freestanding. Set-up is at 8 AM. Space is limited so make your reservation with Cecile Morris at 801-628-2921, or email: cecilemorris2@aol.com. Transportation Public Hearing A special presentation and public hearing will be held by the City Council on October 20, 2016, at 6:30 PM for transportation projects that affect residents and property owners on Pioneer Road, 1200 West, and 1700 South. These roads will be relocated and reconstructed in the future. The City Engineer will present the proposed transportation projects and provide valuable information. Anyone interested may attend and give comment. 2016 Fail Clean-up Fall Clean-up is scheduled for October 15-16. A dumpster will be located at Marriott Park and at Slaterville Park. Please put all garbage completely inside the dumpster, not on the ground. This is a complimentary service, please be considerate of others using the dumpster. Waste Management requests no tires or hazardous materials. Veterans Tribute Run - Chili Cook-off The First United Methodist Church and George E. Wahlen Ogden Veterans Home is sponsoring a Veterans Tribute Run on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at 10 AM. Registration is $30, call 801-393-5662 for more information. The Chili Cook-off is following the Veterans Tribute Run at the First United Methodist Church located at 1339 West 400 North (between EDO and Toad's Golf Course). Local Updates Irrigation. Secondary water is being turned off for the season the first week of October. Please winterize your irrigation systems. 2016 Elections.
