Most all the people I talk to feel this is a special place, and I agree. We are minutes away from big city amenities, yet, for the most part, we are somewhat sheltered from city life. We have a local city organization that really cares about its citizens and is works hard to maintain the atmosphere that makes us great. My wish to all of us is that we might continue to be good neighbors and assist others where we can. Let us be caring people with a certain amount of pride in our community. May we keep our homes, yards, buildings, fences, and ^arms nice and attractive. On behalf of all of us in the city organization who work to make this city great, I wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year. Community Resources Visit www.marriott-slatei-ville.org to find resources and information about your community. The City History link will take you to the digital library at Weber State University where our entire City History is archived along with oral histories from longtime residents. Emergency Management resources help you plan with your family in the event of a disaster. Links to presentations and other documents provide valuable information about organization, planning, transportation, and projects.
