Show CommenT Vol. 19 No.2 WEBER STATE COLLEGE April 1988 Class of sets reunion Students in the class of 1948 were just teenagers when they attended school in the old Moench Building, but this year they have gracefully aged enough to be inducted into emeritus status in the Weber State Alumni Association. The class of 48 will graduate to their new alumni standing May 20 during the Emeriti Alumni Banquet set for 6:30 p.m. in the Ballroom of the Shepherd Union Building. A reunion of that class will precede the banquet, said Melva Kammeyer, president of the Emeriti Alumni Chapter. “We are looking for class members whose names may not be on our list and will not receive a written invitation. We urge anyone who attended Weber College between 1946-49 to come and join us at the banquet and reunion,’ Kammeyer said. Those from the class of ’48 not planning on attending could send written memories to share with the group, she said. The emeritus chapter is for those who attended the college 40 years ago or more and provides means of friendshipping with former classmates as well as offers opportunities to support the college, an alumni brochure states. For more information contact the Alumni Association at (801) 626-6569 or write: Weber State College, Alumni Association, Ogden, UT, 84408-1011. Food supplements, so-called health food items, are growing in popularity, buta Weber State College health professor said these supplements are lightweights when compared to a traditional balanced diet.
