103, 1906, Conf., Off for Norway, Stavanger April 15th Att. Sunday shool at 10:30 & Meetings at 2 & 8 p.m. meetings were held in an ajoining large temperance Hall, & was well attended. Several Visitors from Aarhus, 16 Monday. Preisthood meetings at 10:30 & 2:30 in which reports from the Elders were herd, & instructions given. at ev. 8 o clok another meeting was held in a large Hall, & was well attended. 17th in p.m. had Building Committe meeting at ev. Mutual Conf. with a nice program. 18th Met with an architect & cansulled abt Building. at Ev. att. Tambola & a nice program rendered. at all meetings a good spirrit prevailed & many strangers vsited with us. 19th took train early for Frederikshavn took train at 10 a.m. for F. Christiansens and Norway both I & Br. Jorgensen was very sick. arrv. at nine & at 10:30 took boat again (Christiania) for Bergen.at Flekke fjord took train to Stavanger on the 20th at Egersund. half way, had pased trough 42 tunnels, & yet many more. Here at Stavanger, we found Elders Larsen & Sorensen, Stayed same time & at 7 joined one Conf. on boat Christiania & preceded to Bergen where we arrived on the evening of the 21st Went to Office & found all the Elders there but 2 from Stavanger. who came latter 104, at Bergen for Conf., Bad cold, Elder Magleby sick 21st during day. got letter from home, & picture of Baby Vera. answered Letter. conversed with Elders. & President. A. M. Nielsen. a fine man. took a bath. at ev. 8:30 att. 1st Conf. meeting, good reports ware rendered, showing many investigaters. I had taken such cold, and was so hoarse, I could hardly speak audible. Stayed at Office. 22nd Sunday. att. a good S. School at 11 am. children showed good work under carfull training. Y.M. & Y.L. Society gave Dinner for at Hall to all Missionaries, general Conf. meeting at 4 p.m. in old Hall. at 8 ev. in a large rented Hall. abt. 160 present. I could not speak, being so bad with cold. 23rd Recd. Letter from Elder Magleby that his healt was failing and asking to go home, latter got a Tellephone measage that Elder Magleby was seriously ill. I instructed to send him home at once, if he was well enough to travel I sent his release to England & informed Pres. Grant. of conditions. Had Preisthood meeting 11 a.m. & 2:30 p.m. had usual reports & gave instructions, at ev. att. last Conf meeting & spoke to the Saints for abt 40 minutes. 24th A.M. used in instructing in Bookkeeping, Elder Jorgensen taking lead, after Dinner all Elders went & got Photograped in a Grup.
