Show Marriott-Slaterville City History November 2016 which would primarily benefit low and moderate income persons. The Wasatch Front Regional Council, of which Marriott-Slaterville City is a member, is expecting to receive approximately $1,000,000 in this new program year. With our existing City Sign Ordinance being outdated, staff have updated and made technical changes to this ordinance to meet challenges presented by ongoing development. Mr. Smout asked if existing signs already in place will be grand-fathered in and Mr. Morris said they would. With recommended approval from the Planning Commission, Council voted to approve this Ordinance. City Council approved Ordinance 2016-15, increasing the height of an accessory building in an A-1 zone, excluding cluster subdivisions, to 30 feet. The maximum height of an accessory building in any zone where the parcel of the accessory building is to be located exceeds 2 acres, is 30 feet. Council discussed the strategy for Mr. Slater's upcoming departure for an IDS Church mission in March and the vacancy it will create on the Council. Mr. Morris said an ad will be placed in the newspaper stating that residents can file an application with the City. These will then be reviewed by the Council and the Mayor will ultimately appoint someone to fill the position for the remainder of Mr. Slater's term. Local Updates Secondary water is now off.
