Automotive Air Conditioning—Principles of operation and servicing automotive air conditioning and truck refrigeration components. Two two-hour lecture-laboratory combinations a week. S (2) Hartog 82. Theory of Internal Combustion Engines—New developments, construction, operation, science, and theory of gas, diesel and airplane engines, including both the two and four stroke cycles, and the materials used in the construction and operation of engines. Actual engine demonstrations are given. Designed for students with some previous mechanical training. Two two-hour lecture-laboratory combinations a week. S (2) Andersen 84. Automotive Fundamentals—A course that covers the fundamentals of the automobile such as: engines, fuel systems, electrical, chassis and etc. A course designed for other than automotive majors. Two lectures and one laboratory. W (3) Andersen 85. Automatic Transmission—Theory, construction and principles of operation of automatic transmissions. This includes late General Motors, Chrysler, Ford and other popular automatic transmissions. Three two-hour lecture-laboratory combinations. A (3) Andersen 86.
