Show Technology — Licensed Practical Nursing Technology — Machine Tool LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSING The Department of Licensed Practical Nursing offers a one-year (52 weeks) curriculum in practical nursing which qualifies the student, upon successful completion of the program, to take the Utah State Licensing examination. A student who successfully completes the training and passes the examination is eligible for registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse. The curriculum provides for theory classes offered concurrently with clinical laboratory practice in the hospitals of the area, including David O. McKay, St. Benedict and Weber County hospitals. Students are awarded, by Weber State College, A Certificate of Proficiency upon successful completion of the Licensed Practical Nursing curriculum. Oil. The intent of this course is to prepare students for employment in the areas of machine tool operation, maintenance, inspection, tool and die fabrication, and numerical control machine operation and programming. Upon completing the program, the student will receive a Certificate of Completion. 1. Machine Processes—Fundamental lathe and drill operations and bench work. Five laboratories. A (5). 2.
