Introduction to Geology—The physical features, origin, and history of the earth. Not recommended for science majors or those planning to take additional geology. Credit will not be given for both Geology 5 and Geology 21 or 54. A W S (5). Staff +15. Rocks and Minerals—Sight recognition of the important rock forming and other minerals through class discussion and laboratory work, and the identification of the common rocks of the earth's crust by mineral content, association and occurrence.
