Public Hearing - Discussion/Action regarding recommendation from the Planning Commission to adopt Ordinance 2000-14, General Plan Textual Amendment, which adopts Section 14.17.035 of Title 14, to allow the option of mandating compliance with the General Plan, and which deletes a conflicting subsection. a. Motion to adjourn public meeting and open public hearing. b. Staff presentation: Duncan Murray, City Attorney, and/or Owen Burnham, City Planner. c. Public comment d. Motion to close public hearing and reconvene public meeting. e. Discussion/Action by city council (no public comment). 9. Council Approval of two checks to Wikstrom Economic & Planning Consultants (from 1999-2000 Budget Year Startup Costs): a. $9950.00 check for impact fee studies (water, parks, public safety, and roads) b. $5000.00 check for business license fee study. 10. Short reports from city officers: a. Council assignments: i. Magistrate, Recorder/Dep. Rec/Newsletter, Historian, Youth Council: H. Orvil Holley ii. Treasurer, Elections (report on June 27th Primary, upcoming November 7th General): Kim Slater iii. Independent Auditor, Parks, Trails, and Recreation: Delbert Hodson iv. Mayor's report: Fire District, Sewer, budget update, update regarding other city events and concerns, etc. c. Discussion regarding Legacy Highway meeting held on June 28th, etc. 11. Items to be placed on next council agenda. 12. Motion to Adjourn (Next Meeting, with Public Hearings, on Thurs., August 3, 2000 at 6:00 p.m.).
