Presentment by Mayor Butler of Proclamation 2001 -03 to Miss Utah Teen Hospitality. 4. Discussion/action on approval of new business licenses, Rent-2-Own, 1200 W 200 S. 5. Presentation of preliminary results of the 2000 U.S. Census. 6. Discussion on modification of municipal election districts to ensure populations are evenly distributed between districts using results from the 2000 U.S. Census. 7. Discussion on the status on parks. 8. Discussion/action on preliminary and final approval for 3 lot administrative approved subdivision at 1152 S 2000 W by Chad Meyerhoffer. 9. Discussion/action on preliminary and final approval for 4 lot administrative approved subdivision at about 2000 W 700 S by Keith Slater. 10. Discussion/action on recommendation by the Planning Commission to approve the final site plan of Marriott-Slaterville Business Park submitted by KBC Leasing, with Joe Taylor as agent, on property formerly owned by Gary Baur and Mr. and Mrs. Frazer on 1200 West and 17th Street. 11. Agricultural protection area 2001-01 by Melvin Meyerhoffer for agriculture property on 1200 West 400 North. 4. Agriculture protection area 2001-02 by Dennis Ilium for agricultural property near 1200 West and 700 North. 5. Agriculture protection area 2001 -03 by Grant Butler for agricultural property near 3100 W. Pioneer Road 6. Conditional Use Application # 2001-3 by F. W. Jones & Associates for R.V. Storage Area near 1200 West 1200 South. This item was tabled at the last meeting. 7. Ordinance 2001 -8 amending the Wireless Communication Tower provisions to allow for wireless towers in the utility corridor on power poles as a conditional use. 8. Conditional Use Application # 2001 -4 by Qwest Wireless for Conditional Use Permit on a power utility pole at about 1210 West 400 North. 9. Adjourn. Meeting Change. The City Council has moved its regularly scheduled meeting to its alternate meeting time. All future council meetings will be held on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Census 2000. Preliminary results of the U.S. Census for Marriott-Slaterville place the new population at 1,425. Ironically, this number is 99 people fewer than the current estimate at 1,524. But it is no use to argue with the U.S. Department of Commerce. Preliminary statistic are available at the city office. Local Youth Crowned. Stacia Winn of Marriott-Slaterville was crowned Miss Utah Jr. Hospitality at the 2001 Miss Utah National Teenager pageant held May 18 and 19 at Utah Valley State College. This event featured 22 intelligent young women from across the state. Stacia is the daughter of Cathleen and James Williamson of Marriott-Slaterville, and Michael Winn of Layton. Youth Council. Barbara Brown and Brenda Holms are the new Youth Council advisors. The Youth Council is available to youth in 9-12 grade.
