Show Non-Traditional Credit, Majors and Minors Majors and Minors HOW TO COMPLETE A BACHELOR DEGREE IN THREE YEARS The baccalaureate degree may be obtained in three years or less by satisfying degree requirements in any of the following ways or by a combination of the following: 1. Examinations: CLEP; Advanced Placement Program; Special Examinations. 2. Weber State College—High School Summer Program for Juniors 3. Weber State College — High School Senior Enrichment Program 4. Attendance during summer sessions as well as the regular school year 5. Fifteen credit hours is an average quarter load. However, some students may find that they can carry more. Up to twenty credit hours may be carried without special permission. 6. Credit given for approved educational experience other than that acquired through an accredited institution of higher education: Military, Police Academy, Federal Bureau of Investigation Academy, Federal Aviation Administration, Emergency Medical Technician certification.
