Show Asian Studies Minor 2. Theatre Arts courses required: Theatre Arts 111 (2), 112 (3), 113 (3), 114 (3), 115 (2), 116 (2), 117 (2), 125 (2), 241 (3), 315 (3), 343 (3), 401 (5), 411 (3), 412 (3), 415 (3), 420 (3), 420 (3), 471 (3), 499 (2). . All majors are expected to participate in each main season production by accepting at least one of the various assignments, such as acting, technical crew, costume crew, makeup, box office, house management, stage management, assistant director, or promotion. Also, it is expected that prior to graduation, each major will have performed duties in each of the various areas. These requirements are designed to ensure the breadth of experience commensurate with an undergraduate theatre education. B. English 1. Minimum of 35 credit hours of English courses. 2. 'World Literatu re—Only when taught with Asian literature emphasis. ucirerai ASIAN STUDIES MINOR PROGRAM Should other courses relating specifically to Asia, either of an experimental or of a permanent nature, be added to the curriculum, these courses will be accepted as part of the Asian Studies Minor Program. Should such courses be part of an academic area not listed above the new academic area will be added to those presently constituting the Asian Studies Minor. LATIN AMERICAN STUDIES PROGRAM The Latin American Studies Minor is an interdisciplinary program offered through a number of cooperating departments including Foreign Language, History, Geography, Political Science and Philosophy, Sociology and Anthropology, Psychology, Business and Economics. Students from academic areas not presently represented in the Latin American Studies Minor are welcome to participate. Gordon K.
