A minimum of 103 credit hours. B. Minimum of 67 credit hours in the major field. C. A GPA of 2.00 with a C or better in major courses. D. Moving and Installing Machinery and Equipment (5) Terminology, principles and practices of moving and installing industrial equipment. Two 1-hour lecture-demonstrations, and three 3-hour labs. 150. Industrial Equipment Maintenance (5) Terminology, principles and practices of trouble shooting and preventive maintenance of Industrial equipment. Two 1-hour lectures and three 3-hour labs. WELDING The Welding curriculum is designed for students who desire to major in Welding or in Manufacturing Technology with a Welding specialty. Electric, oxyacetylene, and inert welding processes are included. It is the intent of the program to prepare students for entrance into the welding occupations. Upon completion of the first year of the program the student will receive a Certificate-Welder Operator General. Students completing the second year of the program may be given either a Diploma-Welding Technology or an Associate of Applied Science Degree. Certificates of Skill Proficiency will be issued for attainment of agreed-upon skill levels.
