Readings in Zoology* (1-3) 489. Cooperative Work Experience (1-5) Open to all students in the Zoology Department who meet the minimum Cooperative Work Experience requirements of the depart- ment. The course objective for each student will be developed by the student, the department, and a suitable employer providing the opportunity for an on-the-job experience. Evaluation of course participants will be shared by the employer, student, and the department. Grade and amount of credit will be determined by the department. 492. Short Courses, Workshops, Institutes and Special Programs (1-6) In order to provide flexibility and to meet many different needs, a number of specific offerings are possible using this catalog number. When the number is used it will be accompanied by a brief and specific descriptive title. The specific title with the credit authorized for the particular offering will appear on the student transcript. 495. Field Zoology (1-5) Credit to be given in this course for study conducted on an extended, organized field trip under proper supervision. * 499. Seminar (1-1-1) Open only to qualified students.
