There are trends that will cause a serious impact on segments of the construction industry that are worth contemplating. Let us therefore examine the current recession and attempt to evaluate it, turn next to the construction industry itself and relate the impact of some of the forces--short-run and Iono-run-that may have far-reaching consequence of which we should be mindful.
