Finally, under our third major category--increasing business leadershipwe're trying to increase recognition of San Francisco by building the city's reputation head- quarters center for business, finance, insurance and professional services... representing business viewpoints before federal, state and local agencies...maintaining favorable transportation rates and services to facilitate business development. We intend to promote the city by expanded efforts through our Publicity Department and other channels for advertising and publicizing San Francisco all over the world. I have indicated, to you some of the high-lights of an all-embracing civic development program which, I feel, well deserves your interest and support. The Soroptomists are a great group of business and professional women, and I would feel that we were out of touch with too many important segments of our community life ana economy if you did not understand that we are after and were not sympathetic with our efforts. I invite your
