Show 26 earlier pessimistic forecasts have nod to be revised downward in the light of our actual experience so far this year Industrial construction can be expected to decline some 22% from last year's level. Commercial construction will fall about 9%, and the drop would be even greater if it were not for the continuation of a number of large office buildings, the construction of which was already under way. Only public utility construction shows a growth in volume, but public utility construction is dictated by long range considerations.
