Danielle Nielson will be a cheerleader at Fremont High School next year. Jerica Wilson will be on the cheerleading squad at Wahlquist Junior High. Lindsey Slater and Heather Milne are the new attendants to the Weber County Dairy Princess for the coming year. Haylee Adam was honored by the Standard Examiner for her softball achievements at Fremont High School. Garrett Slater Bass, son of Alan and Adria Bass, was born on May 5, 2006. Lindsey Slater has been named Utah's Academic All Star in Track. Joe Deru has a month-long exhibit of his wood turning pieces at the Gallery at the Station beginning on May 5, 2006. Jack Lucas participated in the annual re-enactment of the driving of the golden spike at the Golden Spike National Historic Site. He is in his fourth year as a volunteer participant in the weekly re-enactments during the summer months. Brad Slater spoke at the beginning of the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run on May 13, 2006. Boy Scout Troop 44 of our community has been chartered for 75 years, being first chartered in 1931.
