Show common theft involve copper wiring, scrap metal, and building material. Thieves have even begun using force to remove materials already installed. Please secure your property and report suspicious activities. Mosquito Abatement. The city express its regret to the Mosquito Abatement District for the loss of the abatement officer for our area who passed away this summer. This loss poses a problem for our community because this officer had the keys and access to many properties to spray for mosquitoes. The knowledge that went with this officer will take time to replace. If you have noticed that mosquito abatement is no longer spaying your property, please contact them at 392-1630. A new officer is in training, but it will take time for him to become familiar with the area._ Senior Center Lunches will continue on Tuesday at the Senior Center. The lunch menu and senior calendar was not available at newsletter printing this month. Contact Shauna Meyerhoffer for menu information. Yoga will start again in October, so contact Carolyn Deru at 731-1875 for details. Let's get some exercise! As soon as the cookbooks arrive, likely in November, then those who have placed an order will be contacted to pick-up their cookbook at the city office.
