Show Education — Health, Physical Education and Recreation 340. Drug Abuse. The course covers the nature of the drug problem including alcohol, tobacco, stimulants, depressants, hallucinogens, organic solvents, and opiates. A W (2) 386. Field Experience—A course designed to provide opportunities for students to gain practical experience in the field by assisting in the activities of community agencies, schools, and the college. Credit is determined by the quality of the experience and hours of time required. Registration for the course requires approval of the instructor for the course and the cooperating agency. It cannot be repeated for credit in the same area of concentration. Prerequisite: Health Education 300. A W S (1-2) 480. Individual Research—A comprehensive study of a significant problem in the field of Health Education. Hours to be arranged. For Seniors only. Courses to satisfy the physical education requirement must be taken in three different activities.
