The mosquito abatement employee who served this area died recently, and will be greatly missed. Pam Tipping was one of 40 women who attended the second annual women's football clinic August 4, at Weber State University. The five-hour class was hosted by coach Ron McBride and his staff. Lindsey Slater and Quenton Jones won their Division of the national Duct Tape contest. Each received $200.00 for schlarships for their efforts. (Hope it paid for the duct tape.) Lila McFarland celebrated her 80th birthday on August 5, 2006, with family and friends.
