Show Sunday 29 Stayed in bed all day getting up only for meals. Tired but not too sick. Nan at home also feeling rather done up Laurie visited no other callers. Monday 30 Meeting with Mr. Knapp & Mr. Lesnen to 1130. To brunch at the Threshold. Mrs. Wilcox, Mrs. Holkin & Mrs. Bundy hostesses. Nice visit with many friends. I finished by reading machine a good book I Speak for Myself by John Hayes Holmes. Knapp & Mrs. Lesnen came for continuation of Conference re nursing. A definite plan for my participation developed. Nan left after lunch for SLC. Laurie came later pm & we discussed business affairs Henry called to look around Ward teachers (2 young men) called. Nan home 1030 Wednesday, Feb. 1 LL Club luncheon 1 pm. at Helen Stones. After with Nan to funeral of our friend Mr. Wilson of Lighthouse. We shall miss him Marthas Husband with sidelights & discussion A interesting eve Thursday To Hosp Bd meeting at noon. A cordial welcome from Bd. members on any return. I missed since Xmas Nan & I to Salt Lake 3 pm. Good glasses at Walcotts. Filling seemed to have some promise. To Z.C.M.I. Looked for mugs & lamp but got nothing. Nan went to Michaels school band concert. Friday, Feb. 3 Light snow during night. Ground white this am. A meeting at home with Mr. Knapp Mrs. Lesnen & Mrs. Law, Dr Johnston (Rich) & Dr. Discussing hospital record changes. Spent some time working with new glasses. I am thrilled to be able to read even a little a gloomy day, but little rain or snow. Saturday, Feb. 4 Sun shining brightly this a.m. Jimmy Dee & friends Zahriskie boy came in to see Nan Lena McCure came & read poetry. We had interesting time. Laurie came to talk foundation questions. Nan out in eve. I had book with Dicks picture by me To Sunday School at 10. Came |
