Show Sunday 23 Sunday School at 10. Nice at home for dinner. Laurie came & we talked over ATDee foundation. Nan & I out to Mr. Hansens to talk about garden. Nan brought me home. Spent pm & eve with TV & radio. No phone calls no visitors Monday 24 A talk with Junnis this am re various plans. Nan fixed up insurance with an agent who called Marie came after wok. We got accounts fixed up. Timmie Dee & friend visited in pm Snow storm came up. Tuesday 25. Wrote letters to Leota to Sally & to Mary Wilson. Finished my big reading book. Leheys. I was there Dee Co. meeting pm. Laurie, Edith & I. Sadly missed dear Betty. Wednesday, April 26 To hairdresser 10 am Margaret came while I was away & remained overnight. I to D of UP 130 with Norma (Marg at home & visited with her friend Mrs Smith To Drama Club at Alices 8 pm. Marg & Nan went to a picture show after we 3 had supper at Taste Home. Home 1030. Friday, April 28 To Mrs. Lucile Whilmeyers for brunch 11 am with Rosabelle, Norma & Edna Wallace (she driving) Hurried home to go to Acacia at 1. Margaret with us. Blanche Johnston gave good paper on Alaska. Margaret went home with Salt Lake members. Saturday Nan & I to Warren Wattis funeral 11 am. Down town for a light lunch. To Lowes, to Boyle Furn. Got 2 hats at Bon Marche. Nan cooked early dinner. Her daughter Betty & children came to visit. We drove out in eve to look for plants at Flemings & to take a gift to Elizabeths for her birthday. Lovely weather. A nice ride Sunday 30 To Sunday School at 10. At home after, got groceries. Started for Salt Lake 1240 Picked up Mary Lundgreen. They left me at the Town & Country where 18 of us got together for dinner. Honoring Elizabeth on her birthday & Don & Ediths birthdays Wednesday also Joe & Rose both leave for Europe on the 10th also |
