Show Three telephone relay stations b by sabateurs. TV for company until Nan home at 9. Monday, May 29 Phoned Mr. Childs to make reservation in Purline for July 12th the day after our wedding anniversary. A lot of phones re Decoration day & other projects. Gary cleaned terrace & got furniture out. A fine, warm day. Nan doing her washing. We down town pm. To Samuels more dresses. Shoes at Scrivens Helen G note furs for storage. Tuesday, May 30 To cemetery at 10. Many members of family there to put flowers on graves. Lovely baskets for each of 15 graves. A bunch from our own garden for Dicks grave. Bless him. Nan & I called at Farrs for ice cream & went to Bettys home now Elizabeths where about 32 members of family assembled for buffet lunch & much visiting. All agreed to make a Dee family association as I planned some time ago. Nan later with her family Arch & Peg brot me home & we had nice visit. In eve. Nan, Jimie Brown & I to see picture Gone With the Wind. Wednesday 31. I home all day. Dick some reading with my telescope lens glasses & planning for proposed trip Nans pm out Katherine Milligan visited Nan home early for late supper. Some checkers after Wrote to Rosabelle in London & to Craig on a flat top in Medeteraion. Some reading A rather dull day and planning for trip. Some visits on phone. Reading & checkers with Nan in eve. Friday 2 Gary busy on lawns. He has everything looking nice. A fine day and warmer. Nan & I with Elizabeth & Don went with Jimie Tribe to look at house on Kingston Drive. Lovely house, but 27 steps to climb. Nan & I for a drive later. A quiet eve at home. Saturday 2 Nan took Edith & me to Hotel Utah for LL Club luncheon She visited with her family until 430 pm when we came home. The club luncheon our annual field day which ended our club year. Many guests with club members. My guests Margaret, Dorothy, Peggy & Edith A nice season Sunday 2 Sunday School 10 am Dinner at Maddox 2 pm A good dinner & nice ride in the beautiful day. Nan out at 5 |
