Show Saturday. April 1 Had flowers sent to hospital yesterday A lovely sunshiney am. Nan took me out to look over garden. All pretty good. Spring appears to be here Sunday 2 To cemetery to see all the family (brother & Rosabelle, Edith, Elizabeth & Don) & placed Easter lilies on our graves. Specially on Dicks grave. Bless all our dear departed relatives! Nan with us. Called at her place. To hospital to see flowers. Left for Salt Lake at 12 noon. I at Margarets. Nan with her family. I to dinner at the Ambassador club. Visiting after at Margarets. Home at 7. Mr. & Mrs Knapp came in eve & brought me a lovely Easter gift. A complete radio addition of the Book of Mormon. Nan out in eve. Monday 3 Got busy with pre house cleaning work. Cleaned out drawers in my bedroom. Nan busy day with washing & cleaning guest room. Out for a ride later pm & had dinner at Starlight. Checkers until 1130 Tuesday 4 Call during the day. Mrs Madson (Garys mother) Norma Patterson (brot hot bread) Glen & Katherine Milligan Henry MarieMrs Clough a blind lady came to call (we got books fixed up. A beautiful day. Nan down town to do errands I stuck to my drawer cleaning by bits & starts with satisfying results. Early to bed. Wednesday 5 L.L. Club in Salt Lake (Hotel Utah) Nellie Kirkmeyer hostess. Luncheon & program reading La Petite by Juan Allred reviewed by her mother Pearl A Home at 430. Marion Pugmire Nans pm out. A quiet eve Thursday 6. LDS conference first session. I listened thru both sessions while still sorting out drawers, etc. Schow put up 2 clothes lines (removable) on the terrace & put up our door knocker. Nan went to Dr. Olson in pm. She is O.K. We went to Fish House for dinner. Read Book of Mormon (machine) eve. Friday 7 A gloomy am with sprinkling of snow & some rain. I feeling duncy all day. Gary & Bill came & went over garden with Nan I did some machine reading. A game of checkers & reading Book of Mormon eve. |
