Show Saturday Nan out in eve. Sunday 7 Sunday School am. Dinner at home. Pm to McDowell recital. Margaret & Peggy came & visited went to the concert. Nan out pm & eve. Monday Met Marie at office 1230 pm to make deposits & go to safety box. Nan & I to Pontiac at 130. Met Burt & looked at a Catalina Pontiac which we like very much. At home Lucille Scocroft visited. Gary & his mother planted pansies. A late lunch dinner. Went to Rosabelles with going away gifts Reading & checkers in eve. & talk about auto. Tuesday Ordered Catalina Pontiac from Burt to be delivered Thursday To Dr. Stagg for feet 2 pm. Lunch later at Ben Marche got little hat at Todds finished reading Candide. Gary working in the garden Fine weather. Looked at wrestling in eve. for a short time. Nan & I out to Gibbs & to Gibbeys nursery & got plants for our terrace box. Home for a quick lunch for me. Nan out in pm & eve until 10 pm. I spent the pm with reading machine Readers Digest. A brisk wind in pm. Gary & his mother planted petunias around trees & geranium in boxes (Nan & I over to Rosabelles at 8 am & bid them Bon Voyage on their trip to Europe Thursday, May 11 A big day At 1030 Burt Fisher came with the car Pontiac Catalina & took us around to The car was ours when we got back home after lunch at Greenwells. At home Gary & mother with Nan planted terrace boxes. Marie came at 6 & we got bills & bank balance fixed. Nan ticked to death with the car. We drove out to show it to S & family. A gloomy day with a very little rain & colder. Gary worked all day mowing lawn etc. I to Mrs. Brown at former Emporium building for hair do and manicure. In eve Nan & I picked up Melvas children & drove out to Bettys where the children will remain during Melvas trip over weekend. Our new car much admired. Gary came & covered plants frost. Saturday, May 13 No frost last night sun bright on Summer this a.m. I watched ball game on TV & got dizzy headache. Rested until eve when me to Dee Annes to give Mothers Day Gift Nan at a school program late. Sunday Nan, Edith & I to Salt Lake at 1230. To Margarets Edith & I to |
