Show opinion. Nan called at her brothers (Russ Ramsey) He is better. Called at Ences. Short visit with them. Home at 615. Nan went out a while. I (and Dicks) picture spent quiet eve. Monday, Feb. 27 Did much arranging for Wed luncheon over phone, also thinking of trip to Cal. later. Nan & I down town in pm. Air plane information at hotel With Louise Olson & Jeanette Morrell to call on Ida Scowcroft who is not well. Got 17.00 worth of sundried for party at Party Pantry. Ward teachers in eve. Tuesday, Feb. 28 Snow on the ground this am. but not very much. Sun came out later & it was gone from the streets. All our efforts toward getting ready for L.L. Club. Henry came pm. & we got everything rounded up. Nan & I to Ediths to discuss a proposed trip to Calif. A quiet eve. Wednesday, March 1 Myra (Halley) came to prepared a nice luncheon for LL Club. Nan helped & I did a little of the arranging. Fifteen members came & all had a good time. Luncheon (yellow color scheme) & program both a success. L Pingree & a teacher from Weber College read an hilarious play The Four Poster. All away at 440 Henry came & put away chair etc. The girls cleared everything up nicely & the party was well over. Thursday, March 2 House nice & tidy & quiet no evidence of having had a party. Mary Lundgreen & came up for lunch We finished off the party food very good. Nan out in pm. I rested, did phoning & listened to book & T.V. Nan home early. We stayed awake for only 1 game of checkers. Friday, March 3 My darling Dicks birthday. Bless him! I to hospital to see Dr Olson. He says I am in good condition. To cemetery to take party flowers to Dicks grave (Yesterday Blanche Johnston & Norma Patterson called remembering Dicks birthday). To Dr. Nielson pm. He says one eye some better the other not Lots of phoning re trip, etc. Saturday, March 4 Nan busy arranging for her 4 tables at cards this eve. I ordered air tickets to San Diego next Sunday (Mar. 12th) Sunday School 10 am. At 130 to Salt Lake taking Mary L with us at a poor place I visited at Margarets. Home at 7 pm. Nan went out for eve. I heard dedication services of new |
